Critical Thinking in Action

Critical Thinking in Action: Case Vignette Workshop is designed to strengthen clinical reasoning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills through interactive case discussions, role-playing, and small-group exercises. Our goal is to foster a deeper understanding of clinical thinking and provide learners with practical tools they can apply in everyday medical practice.

The workshop incorporates three core elements:

1. AI-Enhanced Patient Simulation
Participants engage with AI-supported patient simulations that bring clinical scenarios to life in dynamic, interactive ways. This technology allows learners to work through realistic patient encounters, practice clinical reasoning, and refine decision-making in a safe educational environment.

2. Learning in the Simulation Centre, Community Health Centre Ljubljana, Slovenia
A two-day educational visit to Ljubljana allows learners to experience advanced high-fidelity simulation training in a leading simulation center, further strengthening their exposure to modern, hands-on methods in medical education.

3. Practical Skills Training
This component focuses on hands-on practical skills essential for clinical care. Through guided instruction and supervised practice, learners build confidence, improve technical skills, and strengthen their readiness for real-world clinical situations in a safe, supportive learning environment.

The next Critical Thinking in Action: Case Vignette Workshop will take place September 11–16, 2026, at Terme Tuhelj.
