SIM Mobile
An innovative CROMed-USA initiative designed to bring simulation-based medical education directly to students in the environments where they live and train.
In collaboration with the Simulation Centre Ljubljana, SIM Mobile traveled across Croatia, visiting Osijek, Zagreb, Split, and Matulji to make high-quality, hands-on simulation training more accessible to learners outside traditional teaching settings.
By taking simulation on the road, this program helps bridge geographic barriers, expand access to practical clinical education, and, most importantly, bridge the gap between theory and practice.
Designed as an intensive, hands-on program for final-year medical students and recent graduates, SIM Mobile is delivered in small groups and emphasizes clinical reasoning, procedural skills, communication, and patient safety through the use of high-fidelity simulation.
The 2026 program focused on pediatrics, offering learners practical experience in managing clinically relevant scenarios in a safe and supportive educational environment.
The next SIM Mobile program is planned for March 2027.
The application process for the next SIM Mobile program will open in January 2027.
